Self-portrait is a universal art form/style/manner way through which the artist presents himself or herself to the rest of the world. It reflects relations between intimate (re)presentation of the artist and universal interpretation. In this context, MP decided to present their self-portraits as a reflection of their very first associative feelings towards each other.

The very first association that M had on seeing P for the first time was: Abadon,
the angel of destruction. A glance was memorised as a red trace of DANGER!!!
The self-portrait of M is partially obscured from the viewer, and in the foreground the glance is captured and accompanied by a smile. To reveal the self-portrait, M decided to use an oblique mode…
The portrait of P conjures no association with Abadon, the angel of destruction, as was indicated by the text. The movement
of M will indicate whether this association reflected through the past on P is a reflection of the finality of one/every being, or is its essence !!!

The very first association that touched P on passing by M was: Angel of Happiness. The glance and smile were memorised…
The self-portrait of P with its sharp glance indicates possible associations with Abadon, but it is in contradiction with sfumato and warm light, which dominate through the whole scene.
The portrait of Angel of Happiness manifests the first association through reflective expressiveness and the gentleness of glance and smile, inside energy, soft devotion, and more. All of these initiate the first association!
