The
exhibition(s) presents a selection of the works and objects created and
collected during nine days of isolation and fasting. There are three exhibitions
of the project in different galleries and places.
Each exhibition shows different combinations of works and their related
objects. The exhibitions present digital prints [110/140 cm each] and
the objects used, such as: tea bags, a plastic bottle of water, the 'last'
cigarette, HIV test kits, an unused condom, etc. All objects were used
during the period of fasting and they symbolically related to this intimate
performance [MP_00_CLEANING].
Each object used is preserved and symbolically belongs to the particular
printed work and they are hung close to each other. They work together
as single pieces.
The exhibition(s) is one of three co-related parts of the MP_exper_01-04
Appearance art project; the other two are publication
and performance.
